We as Christians are coming from a life which is designed according to a knowledge that was acquired from Satan, through our parents, and others from whom we learned. According to this life, everybody has somebody else whom he/she looks to for guidance. It’s a system in which people are arranged according to achievements based on men-set standards. In this arrangement, one can only do according to the agreed-upon way. By following this set design, men have tried to keep, their communities in unity, and at peace.
Christians are a people who heard the message of God which his massager, Jesus Christ came proclaiming, which is still being proclaimed by His Church (for details on this, request for our message, ‘are you a Christian’), who accepted it to be an explanation of the true life. After accepting it, it therefore obliged them to start living like Christ himself. This is why, when men saw them, they realised that these people were living like Christ and so, “…they called them Christians for the first time-Acts.11:26”. So now, as Christians, to whom are we answerable? Yes, whom do we look to for guidance? I am asking; who is our boss? Christianity is a life being taught by God who began it, and who alone knows it. This He does through His written word, the bible. When He sent His messager,whom we are named after, i.e, Christ, He said, “ I am the way, the truth, and the life; no one can come, or know God unless he/she passes by, and is taught by me-John.14:6”. He went on to say, “…….no prophecy in the scriptures is a matter of one’s own interpretation; because no prophecy ever came by the impulse of man, but men spoke from God, possessed by the holy spirit-2 Pet.1:20-21”(get more details from our message, ‘where to begin’). Since the scriptures are the only explanation of Christianity, and no one can teach it except Christ(……and I saw in the midst of the throne, a lamb(Christ) standing,…he came and took the scroll(bible),…….and those surrounding the throne sang saying,….’worthy art thou to take the scroll(bible) and open it.No one else, either in heaven, or on the Earth can open it- ufun.5:6-9,2-3) , who must first give us his spirit to enable us to understand, whom will we go to here on Earth, that he/she may teach us? Where is Christ on earth today?
JESUS STILL ON EARTH
Brethren, listen to the warning of that Christ, who alone is able to make the truth known to us. “ See that no one deceives you in any way; for many will come in my name saying(accepting),I am the Christ, and will mislead many- Mat.24:5”. Christ up to now is in the midst of us through a people He has chosen (not chosen by men), whom, He commanded to continue (mat.28:18-19) preaching his message to the whole world. It is through His chosen people whom He calls the Church (see details in our message, ‘what is a Church’) that He continues His presence on the Earth, for of them, He says, “ he who receives anyone whom I have sent receives me-John.13:20”. Before Jesus ascended to Heaven, He appointed some among his church members to be, “…apostles, prophets, miracle workers, healers, service men, administrators….1 wakor.12: 28”. Concerning these messagers, Christ tells those of us who have believed His message to, “ respect them who labor among you and are above you in the Lord, who admonish you; esteem them very highly in love because of their work-1 Thes.5:12-13”. He continues to tell us this about them; “Remember your leaders who spoke to you the word of God, consider the outcome of their lives, and imitate their faith-Hebr.13:7”. Now the question comes: How will we know them? Before we go to the answer, I will also ask another question; do we want an answer which confirms what we think or know, or we want to hear an answer about what Christ is teaching in his word? For all those whose aim in this Christian life is to attain God’s righteousness, as taught by those whom Christ has sent, I beg you to know that the scriptures are the only voice of Christ on this Earth. In the scriptures, He has recorded all that He taught, which is also the life he lived, in which, He has, “…given us an example that we may live as He lived-John.13:15”. Therefore, if we will be able to know his true messagers from whom we may learn his ways, we must first know Christ very well, and know the word of God which is what he taught, and is his life, which also becomes the life of those who follow His example, for Christ Himself tells us, “…for he who is sent by God speaks the word of God-John.3:34”. Friends, lets understand a very important point here. If you don’t live this life of Jesus, this message is not for you; for surely, how will you differentiate between those who live, and those who don’t live by it, if you yourself don’t live it? Yes, I am asking you; how will you know those false messagers who come in the name of Jesus, if you don’t know how Christ lives? Remember the Jews; they used to study the scriptures and follow them according to their fleshly understanding. So, because they used to do them according to what they want and not according to God’s intended purpose of writing them, even though the scriptures talked about Christ’s coming, when He came, “…..they neither knew, nor did they receive him-John.1:10-11”. Examine yourselves prayerfully because, as I talk, many of the professed Christians, are in this condition of the Jews and are denying Christ by rejecting those whom He has sent, and instead, they are welcoming, ravenous wolves(acts.20:29-30), the false prophets. “We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery( which is revealed to those whom Christ is calling alone, as He says, ‘this mystery of the kingdom is only given you-mat.13:11), hidden wisdom which God has kept since the beginning-1 Coritn.2:7”. We whom Christ has sent are very happy as we boldly proclaim this message, for He tells us, “..my sheep knows my voice and I know them, and they follow me-John.10:27”. For this reason, if any one of our readers thinks that we are trying to convert him, or we are looking for a following in order to be seen to lead, he/she is deceived. Our work is to sound this unmistakable voice of Christ (to reach those who are given to understand), with our primary reason being to, we ourselves learn to live by what it says, that we may develop the holy righteous character in preparation for inheritance of eternal life in God’s soon coming kingdom; once we do that, we are assured of one thing; that those who are His will understand the voice and join us. David knew this very well, for he says, “..give me understanding that I may learn thy commandments. And those who fear thee shall see me and rejoice…….and they will turn to me, that they may know thy testimonies-Psalm.119:74,79”. Therefore, know and understand this one thing; We are not talking to everyone. This message is specifically for those who are given to understand, for Christ wants them to come out of the confusion which is in the world of faith, as a result of the rising of many false prophets. Even then, we see many groups which call themselves by God’s name, and claim to be the true messagers of Christ, thus, thickening the confusion. Having being introduced to the truth, and then falling from it, they have teachings which have much truth, but they differ with one another. Now, this being the case, how can we know, among these many, which group Christ is using?
FALLING AWAY
We all agree that we are living in the last days, which Christ himself through His messagers, warned about saying, “ a time will come(has come) when they will not listen(are not listening) to sound doctrine, because they have itching ears; and they will accumulate(have accumulated) for themselves teachers who teach what they want to hear. And they will turn away (have turned) from the truth and follow lies- 2 Tim.4:3-4”. Try to understand if you can please. Christ here is talking about a people who have learned the truth, otherwise, he will not be talking about, a turning from. This means, he is primarily talking about a people who have once been given to understand the truth, but now have turned from it. The turning has fulfilled another prediction, in which He said, “…….the end will not come, until the falling away comes first- 2 Thes.2:3”. So, they are a people who have the truth but are now in the process of losing it as they turn back to those lies which they once forsook. So, right now, they are not using God’s word as their standard of judgement, and so, they are not very careful to live according to the scriptures. They freely gossip, can bribe abit here or there, tell a lie, commit adultery among themselves, struggle for leadership, and even engage in world politics. What took them this far from God’s life? They went away after forgetting Christ’s warning that, during these end times, “….fierce wolves will come(have come) in among you, not sparing the flock; and from among your own selves will arise men speaking perverse things, to draw away(have done it) the disciples after themselves-Act.20:29-30”. So, they have followed false prophets, thinking they are following Christ’s messagers, and the true believers have been scattered among these groups (our message, ‘the end time Church of God has details). Since, for them to come to the truth, they accepted that word (which they are very careless with now) and, “.. Christ and the father came into their hearts and made their dwelling with them-John.14:23”, something that made them to be called Christians-see Rom.8:9,14, after falling away, they also threw Jesus and God out of their hearts. This is why they are said to fall away. Fall from what? The word, the very foundation on which, after accepting the word, they were established, for, as a Church, they were placed on “…the prophets and the apostles-all standing on Christ-Eph.2:20”. They have gone to a spiritual captivity, both the sheep and their shepherds. They are divided among these wolves (make sure to read, ‘The end time Church of God ‘ message). By this falling, the Church of God entered its last stage (age)- the Leodicea, and it has become lukewarm-Rev.3:16. Because these are a people who are well versed with the scriptures, who sing them like a song, it is very hard to warn, or advise them because they say, “…I am rich, I need nothing, am ok…Rev.3:17”. But to confirm that they have forsaken Christ, and that He is not with them where they are now, Jesus is seen outside, “….standing at the doors of their hearts knocking, desiring to enter-Rev.3:20”. Since Christ promised to keep his church to the end, there are a few who saw the wolves arise and so they remembered the warning, and rejected them, remaining in the word- the foundation. But these wolves accuse them of having rejected the truth and leaving the church. It is these few through whom Christ is continuing his Church, and also, whom He is using to sound the seventh angel message to the Leodiceans, who are divided among hundreds of groups. Yes, it is through their message, that Christ is knocking at the doors of the Leodicean’s hearts. Among them are we, the ones who are talking to you through this message. Brethren, we are almost coming to those days, when if it is possible, Satan will deceive the elect. This is because, with most of these Leodicean groups teaching almost all the truth, but not living by it, then the sincere Church tends to get confused. So now, how can we know it?
THE ANGEL’S MESSAGE TO LEODICEA
Even though most of the Church members have to a great extend forgotten themselves, and are not aware of it, Jesus has not abandoned them; even though they claim to know everything, here stands their saviour pleading with them (examine yourself; it could be you), wishing to have their eyes opened, for He tells them, “ …you don’t know, you are blind, you have no strength( for I whom you have thrown out of your hearts, am your only strength); you are weak, poor, and naked-Rev.3:17”. It could be you brethren; read this message as one who is listening to Christ, and examine yourselves according to what He is revealing here, and see if you are truly still standing on that foundation which was once and for all established for the Church, which many members have abandoned to join groups of their preference. This is the work, we who have remained on that foundation (the little flock) are doing, pursuing our brethren in Leodicea to give them our saviour’s message, for He warns saying, “….be zealous and repent; buy from me gold refined with fire that you may be rich, white garment to cover your nakedness, and salve to anoint your eyes that you may see, lest, I spew you out of my mouth-Rev.3:19,18,16”. Therefore, whoever hears this voice, let him/her not harden their hearts like the Pharisees did; don’t use physical standards (those of, “you are not ordained, you are not a pastor”, and the like), basing on personalities but not using the word of truth, “ the perfect law of liberty by which God judges-James.1:25”. Always, be careful not to “judge by appearance but rather by right(law-Psalm.119:142,144) judgement-John.7:24”. The Pharisees missed the mark, and rejected Christ because of this physical judgement. Today, we here some of our brethren whom we meet as we preach this warning message asking us, “when were you baptized and who baptized you? Who ordained you to preach? Instead of being like the Bereans, who, “…received Paul’s message with eagerness, examining the scripture daily to prove if He was talking the truth-Acts.17:11”, the Leodiceans are asking us, “Have you ever been in God’s Church? Who ordained you, and the like”. This is what Christ calls eye, or physical judgement, for He talked about it when the Pharisees asked him, “ who taught you this knowledge and you never went into our bible schools-John.7:15”. Yes, the Pharisees believed that, one can only understand and teach the bible if he is taught by them. Because of this human stand, even though many believed Christ, they never followed him, because they somehow trusted the Pharisees (their leaders). Friends, if you don’t get very careful (and the only way is by following the word-Psalm.119:9-11), and be like the bereans, you will believe the fallen pastors who, like the pharisees claim to be the only authority, while they continue to live in Leodicea, in blindness, as they seek for following, thus devouring the flock. Instead of noticing those whom Christ has risen to proclaim this warning message, they fight and reject them, and so continue to mislead those of Christ’s flock who are in that Leodicean captivity. For this reason, like Deotrophes, “…they like to lead the congregation,…….not welcoming the true brethren, and if any brother who understands this voice tries to welcome this messagers, they throw him out of their synagoques-3 John.1: 9”. If we will succeed in heeding this warning and come out of this Leodicean condition, We must know why we need to come out, and how to do it.
CHRIST IS KNOCKING
“ Behold, I send you Elijah the messager before that great day of the Lord-Mal.4:4-5”. We all know the work of Elijah. It was to restore the Children of Israel to the true God’s worship after they turned to baalism, in the same way, God’s Church members have turned into Luke warmness. Listen to this confirmation. “And Elijah came near to all the people and said, ‘ how long will you limp between two opinions? if the Lord is God, follow Him; but if baal is your God, follow him-1 Kings.18:21”. Brethren, this message you are reading here is a continuation of the Elijah message, and this, after the Church of God has fallen from the true foundation, thus forsaking Christ the same way the Israelites forsook God. He is therefore calling by that same Elijah spirit, through this seventh-angel message, saying, “ Behold I stand at the door knocking; if anyone hears my voice and opens for me, I will come in and dine with him and he with me-Rev.3:20”. Whom is Christ using to proclaim this restoration message? Will He use those overseers(Pharisees) who have lead the flock into Leodicea, who have turned blind and now, all that they are concerned with is to get a following instead of fighting for the sheep, by feeding them with the truth? Did God use the pharisees who were only concerned with frontline seats because they were the ruling council? Surely no. He used Christ. History has repeated itself before your own eyes. Christ is not using those who have turned to be the present Pharisees, who are only contending for their offices. He has appointed other messagers, whom, if you don’t walk in the spirit, you will despise, and so reject Christ unawares. These appointed messagers are we whom you are now reading from. How will you prove our claim? “ If anyone’s will is to do the will(word) of God and of Christ, then he will know whether we are appointed by Christ or, we are doing our own work-John.7:16”. How? If we will know, it will be by first, knowing the purpose of Christianity (ask for our message, ‘Christianity’s value’ for details). When Christ called us, He told us that, this life we are living is a lie, and so, we need to leave it(repent), and learn the true life which He is teaching. He said, “Repent”. “Put off concerning the old self, your former manner of life which is corrupt through deceitful lusts; be renewed in your minds that, with the new knowledge, you may be developed into the new life which is the God’s nature of holiness and righteousness-Eph.4:23-24”. Here we are brethren. This is the sole purpose of Christianity, and the only reason for Christ to send somebody to you. With this awareness, what kind of watchfulness do we apply in knowing those whom Christ has appointed for this final warning work? Yes, what kind of a person should we accept as a messager of Christ, who is the true shepherd, and whom we can welcome, to feed us and so lead us out of Leodicea back to the foundation of the Church? As true Christians, all we need and are striving for is to be build into that true holiness and righteousness, without which, “…no one will be saved(will see God)-Heb.12:14”. We also know that, there is no other person who can teach us that life except Christ. We know that, Christ is here with us through His word, for He is, “…the word of God-Rev.19:13”. Therefore, we need no other person except Jesus to teach us, and, as we have seen, it is for the sole purpose of teaching us the scriptures which are God’s explanation of the life which He created man to live by, now, and forever. For this reason, our carefulness is not about a person, but about the word of God. This means, the only way we can be sure we are in Christ and He in us is by seeing ourselves living according to his word, for He says, “If that word which you heard abides in you, then you also are in Christ(the son), and in God(the father)-1 John. 2: 24”. Are you interested in going back to the true foundation? Prove by seeing yourself living (not just talking) by what the scripture says. It is then, that you will be sure to have opened your heart to Jesus, for He continues to say, “ If anyone hears my words and does them, he will be loved by my father; and I and the father will come into him and make our dwelling with him-john.14:23”. This will take us back to the foundation, on which we were built when we first accepted Christ. And because Christ has raised other shepherds, after the first ones have turned against the flock and began to devour them by leading them astray, and demanding loyalty from them, it is by this same word(as you yourself live in it first) that you will be able to know them. Use this now to prove whether we are those true messagers or not. Since our aim is to fellowship with Christ (not with people), and we know Christ to be that word of (God) Scriptures, and we know that Christ has raised a people for this end time work, we don’t need to fear when somebody comes to us claiming to be His messager. Like the Bereans, ours is to freely, and with readiness of mind, listen to him, then take the scriptures and confirm whether he is speaking and living by the word of God or not. Once we confirm that his message and life is that word, then we out rightly know that he is a send-messager of Christ, and so we receive him. We know it is Christ living his life in that messager, for, “without Christ, nobody can live and understand God’s word-John.15:5”. If the messager doesn’t have that word, or, he has the word but doesn’t live by it, then, it will be that, we don’t see Christ in him, and so we will have nothing to do with him, even if initially, he might have been an overseer of the Church. To us, such a one has either forsaken Christ or, has never known him. It will be a lie to call such a person, a shepherd. Brethren, if Christ is giving us so plain a message, if we are truly in him, where does the confusion arise? How come you say that Christ lives in you, and when He comes to you through a brother, you can’t recognise Him? The only truth can be that Christ is not in you, and that, his voice, you don’t know, and so, you are not among His sheep, or you are still in the Leodicean captivity, blinded. Many, being in this confusion, and at the same time thinking they are sober, are trying a physical effort to unite the church. They have begun a campaign of calling all those who claim to be God’s Church groups, and are persuading them to unite as they were before. Will they succeed?
WHO IS THE RECONCILIATOR?
We all know that human beings were created to be members of God’s family. But this was to be possible only if they first acquire God’s knowledge, and apply it as there way of living (ask for our message, ‘Only one Church’). Since that never happened, and instead, man was deceived out of this plan, and learned the life of Satan(read our message, ‘It is Satan’ for details) which is corrupt and divisive, it obliged Jesus to send His messager, to teach man the true life and through it, reconcile them to God. Satan is the author of corruption and divisions. Of him, our Lord says, “ In the last days(the present time), there will be scoffers, following their own ungodly passions. It is these that cause divisions, worldly people who have not the spirit of God-jude.1:18-19”. Jesus came in order to open the eyes of those who will accept God’s message about the true life as taught by His word. He says that, “ God was in Jesus Christ, reconciling Himself to the world-2 Cori.5:19”. So now, what did Christ say we should use in reconciling ourselves to God and to one another? Did He send us to move around, telling people to stop quarrels and join hands in unity? Yes, did He say we campaign to persuade people to unite? We know that it is sin (living against God’s word-1John.3:4), that separated us from God-isa.59:2. We also have seen how those who live that sinful life bring corruption and divisions among people. So, to reconcile people to God, Christ came preaching God’s law, which is the gospel he taught, for it is written, “this word is that gospel which was preached to you- 1 Pet.1:25”. Whenever a person accepts that message, he/she turns (repents) from his former life and begins to get “…get renewed in his thoughts, and so one begins to develop the godly behaviours in this new life-Eph.4:24”. Since they begin to live like God, and think like him, it also makes them one with Him,i.e, they get reconciled to God, and Jesus Christ, for he says, “ If this word dwells in you, then you also dwell in Jesus and in God-1John.2:24”. From this point on, by His word, with everyone living by it, God reconciles himself to mankind through Jesus Christ, for it is Christ who is teaching us the word through His spirit. According to this reconciliation which comes as a result of people believing and living by God’s word, God is confirming that these people , “…begin to have fellowship with the father and the son-1 John.1:3”. Let it therefore be known that the purpose of God for mankind is, “…bring many sons into His glory-Heb.2:10”. This is very true because man was created to be made a member of God’s family. It therefore obliges everyone to first learn to live that life of God(His word).
CHRIST, THE ONLY RECONCILIATOR
We have proven beyond doubt that it is God who is reconciling the world to himself through Jesus Christ by His word. But Christ said very clearly that, “ No one can know, or reach, or reconcile with God without being enabled by Him(Jesus)-John.14:6”. Brethren, even if an angel comes from heaven, claiming to have been sent by God to reconcile you to him, and he is not using the word of God, don’t accept nor receive him, for, outside God’s word are Satan’s agents who only deceives. The word of God is the only thing God is using to unite people, first, to himself, and then, to one another. What do we conclude then? We are seeing a people who walk around purporting to be doing God’s work of reconciling men, by teaching love. How will we be sure whether they are sent by Christ? “ Jesus Christ is the same, Yesterday, today, and forever-Heb.13:8”. Also God’s purpose for man is that same one which He had even before creating him. So, in that same way He is using the word to reconcile himself to as many as He draws to himself, those whom He has sent will use the same word, and it is the only proof that He has sent anyone, for, “he who is sent of God speaks the word of God-John.3:34”. Anybody, who uses any other way, different from this, only succeeds in causing more divisions and confusion. All these groups which are named Churches are as a result of human beings trying their own effort to bring people together. And because their style can’t make people think alike, even though they group up, they live together, gossiping one another, grumbling among themselves, blaming and complaining- yes, they live in cold war which ends up in separation, causing more divisions. This is the condition we see in Leodicean era, God’s Church today. Though named after God, it is splitting by every dawning day. This is why Christ has send us to awaken those who have ears to hear, and his voice is this message you are reading right now. It’s upon everyone, to use the word of God and prove whether it really is Christ who has sent us or, we are just another self-styled boasters who are adding to the already existing confusion. Those shepherds who were assigned this work strayed and got blinded by Satan. Right now, they are busy scrambling for followers instead of defending the truth, and causing the flock to drink the pure spiritual milk (our message, ‘God is concerned’ has more). Christ is warning everyone who would want to continue in him against listening to these blind guides.
The true Shepherds of Christ are not looking for followers. They are vigorously proclaiming his word, which alone has the power to unite people with Him, so that, once everyone is individually in Him, they can have oneness among themselves( our message, ‘Our identity’ has details). We are among those true messagers. For this reason, we stand before God in Jesus Christ, and before all of you who are hearing us, “..as messagers for Christ’s sake, with God pleading with you through our mouths, appealing to all on behalf of Jesus Christ, that you be reconciled to God. 2 Cor.5:20”. We don’t need any confirmation from anybody, because it is God who confirms us in Christ Jesus through His word. We also don’t look for followers, because, when Christ sent us, He told us that He has a people He has chosen, who, “…listens to His word-John.8:47”. So, we have no envy, nor, any jealousy of any kind. We are convinced that, those who belong to this calling will understand and join us in this great mission, through which, Christ is restoring his Church to that original foundation which is Himself-Yes, the word of God. We are therefore speaking with great confidence as God has impressed it on us, as we wait to see His word do its work in the hearts of those He has sent us to, the same way it is doing in us. God’s word is the very judgement in everything in our lives, for God Himself is our judge, with His word being His judgement. Is He the one who is calling you, whom you are looking for? This message is His voice in Jesus Christ, telling you; “ My son, I am here”. Are you ready to come to Him? Would you want more details on how to reach Him and be united with Christ your saviour?
