We live in a world which knows very little or nothing about itself. Ask anyone about almost everything and all you get as an answer will be a gestured kind of it.Our today\u2019s societies have traditions and cultures which direct the way people should live and conduct themselves. All this is done in the light of what people will say; how they see and like it, etc. It\u2019s people-centered because the designs are people oriented.<\/p>\n
The results of living that way have brought not a little friction and injustices in the world. In an effort to get a tick from fellowmen, people live stressful lives. One would go out of what he\/she knows very well to be the right thing simply because the majority don\u2019t approve it.When despised, one feels beaten; when praised, one feels morally- elevated and gains confidence in whatever they do. But whether praised or despised, the resultant effects are the same. For despisal, people fight back in defense, and try to convince others about their stand. For praises, one still fights, downplaying others to remain the only worthy-to be praised. This arrangement has left the world in a chaotic, conflicting condition. It also has caged people to only think about themselves first, then the people around them. It also has left people striving for those things which, according to the set-standards, will leave them ticked, or rejecting those things, which will leave them despised.<\/p>\n

This is a clear indication that something in this arrangement is terribly wrong. The proof is the above mentioned calamities which have left almost everyone wondering whether life is worthy what it is.It has left almost everyone living in fear and in uncertainty.So,what could be wrong? These life- instructions are what is written in your bible today, for of them, He says, \u201cgreat peace have they that keep(live by)the law, nothing can offend them-Psalms.119:165\u201d.And again,\u201d\u2026it is life for your souls and healing for your bodies-Prov.4:22<\/strong>\u201d.So now, who does God say, began the today\u2019s evil life? Dust is all over. We build on it, we trample on it.One day I hosted some group of friends in my house. As they walked around in the compound, this thought of dust came into my mind. I saw everyone walking freely and without any concern for \u00a0the dust. Then I wondered,\u201d if this dust was something like gold or diamond, everyone will be scrambling to gather as much as they can hold\u201d.<\/strong> But since it is just dust, no one has concern for it.Am I talking about dust here? No, am talking about all human beings, you and I included. This is how we are, something one cant fight for, or endear to a level of upholding.<\/p>\n We all have seen what happens in case of a road accident, or a bomb blast, an earthquake, and the like. One breaks and becomes pieces or ashes, scattering all over, exactly the way dust does. And because we have known ourselves to be that vulnerable, we live in fear. So we should agree with God, against Satan that, we are nothing, and we need to be made something better. We should also agree that, all that we have held as knowledge is a lie and that Satan wants us to hold to it so that we may die.<\/strong><\/p>\n This being the case, whom can we go to so that we can be made that better-something? Is it to fellowmen, who themselves have no knowledge?<\/p>\n We are that valueless. We are dust. All men have been deceived, to reject God\u2019s law which is the only explanation from their creator on how to live. Obviously not to fellow human beings, for we have seen how they do what they don\u2019t know. God is here giving us the solution. If only you had heeded to my words, then, your peace would have been like a river, and your right like the waves of the sea-Isa.48:17.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n S<\/strong>o, to turn to God, we must first turn from ourselves. We must remove these men-set traditions and cultures, which have their men-set standards, which we are all striving to measure to, and which, as we have seen, are all based on lies, for it is written,\u201d\u2026our fathers inherited nothing but lies, worthless things in which there is no profit. Can man make for himself gods? Also, if in the same ignorance, one comments you, praising you, should you be happy, accepting a lie? Christ is commenting us against those who despise us. He knows that they have no knowledge to judge rightly, and so, when they despise, it is only by imagination, for it is God alone who can read the secrets of the heart and so the only one who can judge us rightly. Christ tells us this, concerning being despised, \u201cblessed are you when men hate you, and exclude you, revile and cast your name as evil\u2026..,rejoice, and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is great in heaven\u2026..\u00a0 <\/strong>Also, when they praise because in their ignorance they don\u2019t know that it is God \u201cat work in you both to will and to do for His own good pleasure-Phil.2:13\u201d,<\/strong> should you \u00a0take heed. In most cases, men either praise anything that is going their way or, that is assistive on a selfish level.So,it is at very rare cases that they will praise one for being godly. For this reason, Christ says, \u201cWoe to you when all men speak well of you\u2026.Luke.6:22,26.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n Why? Is it bad to be praised? Not at all. But when in ignorance, they praise, they only praise what they want which is a lie, and they only despise what they hate, which is the truth,or,do you not know that,\u201d\u2026.what is praised by men is an abomination to God-Luke.16:15?\u201d-see also,2Cor.10:12;John.5:44.<\/strong>This we will do successfully only if we first know ourselves as beings who are worthless, and ones whom God is still working on to come up with a glorious, God-like being. Once we realize that, we will have nothing to defend, or fight for in this physical life.
